Using it’s automatic document feeder (ADF) feature, the NeatDesk is capable of ingesting a maximum of 50 pages at once it separates each page and scans the front and back of each sheet while the paper slides down through the device. The NeatDesk has a plain white and black design with curved plastic sides and an area on the top where you feed paper into the machine. See this Neat support article for more information. If you have this scanner but don’t want to use Neat software, you can also use it as an ordinary scanner. Some of the guides on this page can help you repair the electronics or other components of the scanner. The NeatDesk manual (archived here on ManualsLib) gives instructions for cleaning the device. Although Neat left the hardware business in 2016 to focus on it’s cloud document services, many of these machines are still in use they remain a useful scanning tool and can last for years with proper care. The NeatDesk is a desktop document scanner sold by Neat since 2006 (as shown on Neat’s official history page).
